Summer Camps Volunteer

The United DFC Summer Camps provide children ages 6 to 12 with a fun, safe, and encouraging environment which allows them to explore and learn the game of soccer. Campers of all skill levels will be able to enjoy various soccer themed games and drills, as well as additional water games, theme days, swimming, and prizes, with the support of staff and volunteers. The program is offered at two locations; Dartmouth High School and Cole Harbour High School Fields.

Age of volunteers: 13+ years old

Age of campers: 6-12 years old

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9-5:30 PM (choose which days/hours)

Mini Program Coach

The Mini Soccer Program provides our U3-U8 year old players with a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment which allows them to explore and learn the game of soccer. The program is designed to incorporate lots of contact and time with the ball and will emphasize fun, games, and physical literacy development. The program is offered at four fields; Seaside, Portland Estates, Dartmouth High, and Cole Harbour High. 

Age of volunteers: All ages

Age of players: 3-8 years old

Schedule: Sundays (U3/U4), Mondays/Wednesdays (U5-U8) or Tuesdays/Thursdays (U5-U8)

Skill Center Volunteer

United DFC’s Skill Centre programs are designed to provide the players with a fun, social experience that continues to grow a love for soccer as well as teaching the fundamental and foundational developmental aspects of soccer. Skills Centre is part of our competitive development pathway for UDFC players.

Age of volunteers: All ages

Age of players: U8-U11

Schedule: Training weekday evenings and games on weekends

Community Program Volunteer

The U10C and U12C programs are designed for ease and consistency of schedule. Practice and games will be at the same time and night every week this summer. This is for players who want to play competitive games in a more relaxed, fun environment where they are able to play with their friends in their local community. These programs are ideal for players who are not interested in the performance pathway or unable to commit as much time. Coaching will be at a minimum with a focus on playing games.

Age of volunteers: All ages

Age of players: U10/U11

Schedule: Monday/Wednesday (boys) Tuesday/Thursday (girls)

Community Program Referee

For anyone looking to further their understanding of and involvement in soccer, we have a fantastic opportunity for you. This summer, get qualified to be a Community Referee! This is an opportunity to receive training from a highly qualified and experienced referee, gain on-field experience and earn some money in the process. 
 
The training sessions, delivered by Amanda Velutini, are comprehensive and give new referees the best possible start to their refereeing experience.
 
Virtual classroom training will be held on Thursday, May 25th, 6-8pm.
 
On-field training will be held on Sunday, May 28th, 3-4:30pm, at East Coast Varsity Dome.
