Technical Staff

 

 

Director of Soccer

Fawn Mulholland

Questions related to technical aspects including but not limited to - player and team selections, coaching, all on field aspects for A, AA, AAA and Premiership teams.

 

 

 

Fawn is a Canada Soccer B Licensed coach, and has extensive playing and coaching experience with clubs in Northern Ireland, the United States, and Canada. She is a former Coaches Association of Ontario Female Coach Mentor, an NCCP certified learning facilitator and evaluator, and has obtained soccer-specific accreditations both in Europe and North America. As a player, Fawn represented Northern Ireland both at the club and national level, including playing with Crusaders Strikers FC in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. With Crusaders FC, Fawn won Irish League Cup and Premier Leagues. After playing with the Crusaders, Fawn was recruited to the NCAA where she played for four years as a key member of the Mercyhurst Lakers and earned NCAA Scholar-Athlete accolades throughout her NCAA career.

 

 

Grassroots & Community Technical Director

Sam Boswell 

Questions related to the Mini program, Skill Center, soccer camps, U12A, U12-18B, U10-12C and recreational senior soccer teams.

 

 

 

Since 2018, Sam has served as the team manager for the Nighthawks Football Team that competes in the Metro Men’s Senior Soccer League. He has been with United DFC since 2019 as coach for the U13A and U15AAA boys teams. His coaching education includes Soccer Canada C License. He has extensive training through the National Coaching Certification Programs and has completed the following coaching education modules: Soccer for Life, Safe Sport, Coaching Athletes with Disabilities, Mental Health in Sport, Managing a Program, Making Ethical Decisions and Making Headway in Soccer.  

 

 

 

Membership, Communications and Technical Administrator

Anelise Karakostas

Questions related to general communications to members (outside of team and program specific information), social media, website, office reception and administrative support. Support for members and their families and general inquiries. 

 

 

 

A recent graduate from Saint Marys’ University, Anelise will be entering her 5th year in September and will lead the SMU Huskies Women’s Soccer Team for her last year of eligibility. Karakostas, an All-Star Midfielder is originally from Victoria, BC. She was SMU Soccer MVP in 2018/2019, 2022/2023 SMU Female Athlete of the Year in 2018/19, AUS Second Team All-Star in 2018/19, AUS First Team All-Star in 2022/23 and Academic All-Canadian 2020 to 2022.  

 

Staff Technical Coach

Keith Partridge

Questions related to goal keeper training.

 

Keith has played for Dunbrack, Dartmouth United and Mount Saint Vincent University where he has won two CCAA National Scholar Athlete Awards. Keith has worked with Soccer Nova Scotia as an Assistant Coach and Keeper Coach in which his team won the Gold Medal at the 2015 Atlantic Champions. From 2010-2014, he served as DAL AC Men’s Head Coach where he was responsible for technical, tactical and fitness training, goalkeeper training and recruiting. Keith has trained the CC Riders in Truro as a Club Head Coach and Halifax County United as a Senior Technical Staff. Additionally, Keith is a former Technical Director at Dunbrack Soccer Club.

Darean McCormick

Questions related to Summer Day Camps for Summer 2023 (registrations, friend requests, events, etc.).

 

 

 

Originally from Weymouth, NS, Darean was first introduced to soccer at the age of 6. She continued playing for twelve years, stopping at the age of 18 to pursue a degree in Psychology at Mount Saint Vincent University. Now a recent graduate, Darean manages United DFC’s 2023 Summer Camps. She also enjoys her time coaching the athletes of Special Olympics Dartmouth (SOD), and plays an active role in the planning and organization of United DFC’s Special Olympics Soccer Program for the 2023 Summer Season.
