Would you like to be a UDFC team/ club photographer? Paul Morris, club photographer, has graciously offered to host a session in April for all budding photographers to teach the basics of action sport photography. Our goal is to create a pool of club volunteers with a DSLR camera (exchangeable lenses) who can take quality action shots of our players and programs. We hope that the best of these shots can be shared with team parents for free. If you are interested in this session and taking on this role (either for your team or multiple teams) please fill out this form with your availability and you will be contacted about the session. Special thanks to Paul Morris for making this happen. Sign up form: https://forms.gle/UqM1DZ8jCiHqiqzc9

Soccer NS has asked member clubs to put forward representatives for consideration for two Soccer NS Committees. UDFC is pleased to invite our members to apply to email@example.com by Sunday, March 22.
The Competitions and Soccer Development Committees are not representative committees. They are populated from a mixture of volunteers, who have a background in organizing competitions/Soccer Development at the community, district and/or provincial level. Selected nominees will be willing to serve a two (2) year term. Nominees must have a current driving licence, be available to attend Regional/Provincial
Championships, and attend 2/3 meetings annually. In addition, the nominees will be over the age of
18yrs, have a current Criminal Record Check, and have the support of their respective Club, District and
League. If you are chosen, you will be responsible to complete “respect in workplace” training which will be paid by Soccer Nova Scotia.
To apply, please submit a document to firstname.lastname@example.org by Sunday, March 22 outlining the following:
Name, age, community, experience, why you want to be on the committee, what you can bring to help
support the respective committee.
Did you know that our Performance Technical Director, Mesut Mert, has been hired to work as assistant coach for the Halifax Wanderers alongside, Canadian coaching legend, Stephen Hart? We are really proud of Mesut for earning this honour. Mesut, who has been called by many, a "soccer genius" has been the Performance TD at UDFC since our beginning and has made a positive impact on the club and players. We will miss Mesut very much but are so proud of his achievement and wish him well in this new position.
