UNITED DFC has taken the difficult decision to suspend our High Performance Training program and our Strength and Conditioning Program at One Last Rep until we are free of the current COVID-19 restrictions.
The reasoning behind this is that current Provincial government guidelines restrict us to working with nine players and a coach on-field in a consistent 10-person cohort.
This means it is impossible to relaunch HPT alongside our core club training program, which WILL return on Monday January 10 providing guidelines don‘t change, as this would mean introducing players into a SECOND pod.
The same problem exists with the S and C program and for now we have to pause these programs in order to offer the players a consistent and safe core club training program.
I understand this will be a disappointment to the players and parents but right now our priority is to offer everyone a safe Return to Play within their club squads.
Once we are out of these current restrictions we will look at whether we offer make-up sessions for those missed or apply credits to your club accounts.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I take this opportunity to wish all HPT and S and C players and parents the happiest and healthiest of years in 2022. We all look forward to the UDFC Family being properly back together and enjoying our soccer again.
