Grassroots is the most important part of the player pathway. This is where we give children their first experience in soccer. Ensuring that this experience is fun, enjoyable and safe is essential.

The U10C and U12C programs are designed for ease and consistency of schedule. Practice and games will be at the same time and night every week this summer. This is for players who want to play competitive games in a more relaxed, fun environment where they are able to play with their friends in their local community. These programs are ideal for players who are not interested in the performance pathway or unable to commit as much time. Coaching will be at a minimum with a focus on playing games.

The U12 Pre-Performance Program is designed for players who intend to graduate into the performance pathway with United DFC. This program demands more commitment from players in comparison to the community/recreation stream and is designed with the intention to develop players into our competitive stream of U13AA and 13A.
This program will consist of 2 x practices per week and games in the NSSL U12A or 12B divisions. The United DFC pre-performance program is aligned with Canada Soccer’s Grassroots Standards.
