Program Overview

United DFC’s U7/U8 Mini Soccer Program offers an exciting and developmentally appropriate indoor soccer experience designed to keep young players active, engaged, and learning throughout the winter months.

This co-ed or gender-specific (based on number of registrations) program features fun, high-energy training sessions that focus on building soccer fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork through game-based learning. Players will enjoy a mix of structured skill development and small-sided game play, encouraging both individual growth and a love for the game.

As a natural progression from our Mini Active Start program, this stage is ideal for both new and returning players. It provides a foundation for future participation in either U8/9 Community or U8 Skill Centre programs.

Sessions are led by trained coaches and volunteers in local school gyms.

Coaching & Support

All winter teams are led by club staff coaches. Our experienced staff provide consistent, high-quality instruction throughout the season, following structured session plans designed to support player development in a fun and engaging environment.

Training 

• One session per week

• Indoor gym location

• 55 minute sessions

Open registration. All players welcome.
