About the Program

The U12 - 13 B Program is designed for players who may be newer to the game, or may not have made the selection for 12 - 13 AA or A.

This program will consist of 2 practices per week and games in the NSSL U12 and U13 B divisions. Depending on league options, U12B will likely be combined with U13B in the girls program.

The United DFC program is aligned with Canada Soccer’s Grassroots Standards.

Player Selection Policy

At the U12-U13 stage of the United DFC Player Pathway, the B Program offers a developmentally appropriate environment for players who are continuing their soccer journey following Skill Centre or previous stages. Players can register directly for the B Program, and those not selected for AA or A teams through the U12 and U13 Team Formations process will be placed on B teams. While there is no formal assessment for the B Program, team formations are made by United DFC Technical staff with the goal of creating balanced, positive, and inclusive team environments. All B teams compete in the B Division of the Nova Scotia Soccer League (NSSL). United DFC remains committed to placing every player in the most suitable environment to support their growth and enjoyment of the game, ensuring opportunities for as many players as possible, for as long as possible, in the best environment possible.
