Program Overview
- Part of the competitive pathway of UDFC
- Functions as the spring board/gateway to UDFC AA & AAA programming
- Players are predominantly exposed to competition across HRM and occasionally Nova Scotia

U12: $755
U13: $505
The price difference between U12 and U13 reflects the additional turf time allocated to the U12 program. Increased field access results in higher facility costs, which is reflected in the program fee.
Program Outcomes
- Individual skill development through application within individual, unit, and team tactical responsibilities and tasks with a bias towards individual and some unit responsibilities: .
- One example of a responsibility would be:
- Individual (as a CB for example):
- Recognizing when, where, how, and why to move when the ball is moving to close opposition players down.
- Unit (from the perspective of a CB as an example):
- Recognizing the above and how to keep the horizontal distances optimal with teammates when moving as a defensive line.
- Team (from the perspective of a CB for example)
- Recognizing the above and understanding how to manage relationships between defensive line and midfield line when operating under team strategy to keep a mid-block when in defensive organization.
- Physical preparedness for the next level of competitive opportunity.

Who is this for?
Players who are engaged by the sport, wish to achieve their sporting and social goals and are potentially motivated to access further developmental opportunities at the AA and AAA program.
Commitment
12A & 13A:
- Winter contacts:
- 2 training sessions a week
- Opportunity to participate in the additional Committed Player Program weekly session
- Participation in NSSL 7-aside league
- Summer contacts:
- 2 training sessions a week
- Opportunity to participate in the additional Committed Player Program weekly session
- Participation in NSSL 9-aside league
Team formation process
12A & 13A:
- Teams are formed in September for the winter season
- Teams are formed in late March/early April for the summer season

BOLDED DAYS indicates a backup day. The NSSL will try to use the two primary game days and in some circumstances where it is not possible, the third backup day may be used to schedule games
Uniform note*
- UDFC owns the uniforms. The club hands them out at the beginning of the year, collects them at the end of the year, and charges a rental fee of $20/season.
- The $20 rental fee needs to be paid on the front end of the registration process.
- The club takes a $40 deposit, which will be cashed if both jerseys do not come back in good condition at the end of the season. Please hand the deposit off to you manager at the beginning of the year once teams are formed.
- Socks and shorts can be purchased via Level Up. The club does not manage inventory internally.
