The United DFC High-Performance AAA Program runs for 9-10 months per year (assessment period dependent), with a commitment of up to 3-4 training per week, 1 conditioning per week (12 weeks, Jan-March) and 1 game per week during competition times (April-Sept). In addition, UDFC will facilitate mental skills performance training throughout the season.
The calendar runs from January-October.

April (first week): NSSL schedules posted
April (mid-month): Regular season games start
May 20/21: No games - Victoria Day weekend
July 1/2: No games - Canada Day long weekend
July 10-16: Mandatory blackout week
August 31: Regular season ends
Sept (first week): League/Cup winner play-offs
October: Club Nationals (for those that qualify)
All United DFC Coaches will be properly qualified and on-boarded in order to ensure that we as a club adhere to the standards & principles set by Soccer Nova Scotia & Canada Soccer.
All coaches must apply to coach within this program and all applicants will be screened and reviewed in order to ensure that they meet all of the requirements of United DFC & Canada Soccer. These requirements include: the age-stage specific grassroots training/course, making ethical decisions, respect in sport, making headway and emergency action plan.
